Japanese Spitz are known for their great courage, affection and devotion making them great watchdogs and ideal companions for older people and small children. Most Japanese Spitz are good watch dogs, and they have a tendency to bark to warn of arriving strangers. The Japanese Spitz is first and foremost a companion dog and thrives on human contact and attention, preferring to be a member of the family. They are known as very loyal dogs. They enjoy being active and love to be in the outdoors. They are intelligent, playful, alert, and obedient, and particularly excellent and loving toward children.
日本银狐犬，又名日本丝（绒）毛犬、日本尖嘴犬，英文名 Japanese Spitz。原产于日本，日本银狐犬起源于日本1920。银狐犬外观毛色为纯白色，双重皮毛，.颈部周围、胸部及尾巴有丰满的丛毛，特别膨松。黑色的大眼睛，耳朵直立而且呈现三角形，又圆又黑的小鼻子，咀尖，脚圆，趾间有丰满的饰毛。
